Saleem
Shehzad S/o, Late M. Azeem Prem Ragi, Indo-Pak well known singer and poet
was born in Ajmeer Shareef at the musical corridors of the Sub-Continent
inheriting real art of classical music. Saleem is a graduate and learnt to
play various musical instruments in his childhood. Saleem have got the
valuable training by great masters like Ustad Barey Ghulam Ali, his son, Munawar Ali Khan and their Khalifa Nazer Jamal Rethore. Great music
composer of Indo Pak Nisar Bazmi introduced Saleem as playback singer in
Pakistani films like Talaash and Saughat. Saleem is a
versatile and can sing Khyal, Thumri and Ghazal as better
as in low pitch and in the highest pitch with comfort and ease rather with
command.
Although
world have forgotten him but Saleem have again started
performing in the Karachi stage programmes for his living expenses and now-a-days he is performing a raga based programme in Vibe and Mr. Sohail Shoaib is the music director of this programme.
